Ironically, the iPad’s best case is coming to the market . . . in the form of a laptop.

ClamCase is aiming to launch its new product in the Fall. The case allows Apple’s iPad to rest in a frame, connecting it to a wireless keyboard in laptop fashion.

The case will feature a Bluetooth Keyboard, a “360 Flip Case” combined with a unique stand for viewing.

Apple announced that it has surpassed the 1 million mark on iPads sold. The milestone is a big accomplishment considering that the new device has been released only in the United States.

While the iPad is a hot selling item, its limits to use are still being found each day.

Apple came through with their promise to ship the 3g version of the iPad by the end of April, and fans continued to line up in front of Apple stores to get their hands on the very latest release from Cupertino.

With the iPad hype far past its crescendo , Apple fans and gadget junkies are quickly shifting their focus of speculation to the recently leaked iPhone 4 or iPhone HD.

Apple’s co-founder and CEO, Steve Jobs, took the time to write a letter attacking Adobe’s Flash software and the company itself for criticizing Apple for not including it on the iPad or iPhone.

The gadget web site, Gizmodo, owned by Gawker media, is officially staying quiet as it is being spread thin under the microscope of California lawmen who raided the home of their editor, Jason Chen.

Cupertino computing giant, Apple, released a new set of gear in the form of a bigger, badder iMac (well, as bad as an iMac could be) along with a new MacBook and Mac Mini and even a new “Magic Mouse” to replace their not-so-mighty “Mighty Mouse.”

Of all of the personal electronic products, earbuds are one of the most intimate items that a person could buy – at least from Best Buy. Let's admit it, it's just not natural to stuff miniaturized speakers into your ear canal. A bi-partisan panel of congressional representatives have reportedly sent a letter to FCC chairman Julius Genachowski demanding an investigation of Google (NSDQ: GOOG) for their management of their online calling software, Google Voice.

According to Computer World, Apple has purchased the map-making software company, PlaceBase.

The report stems from a July Tweet from Openspaces.org founder, Fred Lalonde, saying, "Apple bought Placebase - all hush hush. Pushpin site taken offline. Hyperlocal iphone?"

Placebase.com was taken offline as Internet Archives show the site was still alive in kicking in July but is now a placeholder for documentation for their Pushpin software.

What can be the trickiest part of moving to a new operating system (or simply upgrading) is the installation.

With Snow Leopard, beads of sweat were rolling of the installer’s forehead (and I have a large one) during the upgrade of the first production machine.

Weeks ago, Google filed an FCC complaint against Apple after its iPhone application, Google Voice (GV), was shut down by Apple. Google alleges that the kibosh was put on GV because it would compete against the AT&T network.

Apple responded in a laughable manner by denying that the GV application had even been rejected – even though it completely removed another application by an independent developer that made GV services accessible through the iPhone.
