Google Starts Waving

The newest Google application, Wave, rolls out to 100,000 advanced users on the 30th according to the Google Blog.

Wave, a new collaboration/social networking tool has been hyped amongst online geeks for months as it offers intuitive features and robust communication between users.

It’s difficult to pigeon-hole Google Wave into one category. Part document management tool, social network and project manager, Wave can be applied to work or fun.

Make no mistake, Wave is truly innovative with intuitive spell-checking other trailblazing features, but it’s downfall may just be that it’s not specialized enough to gain interest. Even after many product demo’s people are still scratching their heads trying to figure out exactly what Wave is. That’s both good and bad.
