By Shane Craver on August 31, 2011

America's oldest outdoor cooking companies, Char-Broil, has launched it's latest cooking device that is more gadget than grill.

The 2-in1 Electric Infrared Smoker & Roaster can heat up a 16-pound turkey an bag full of meats or veggies by simply plugging it in and pushing a few buttons.

The adventurous can even add in wood chips and pellets to a smoker box to add in that good 'ole smokehouse flavor – as opposed to actually smoking your meat treats for a true taste of what outdoor cooking is all about.

The cooker, ideal for people who are afraid of fire or generally lack manliness when it comes to grilling is being offered up at $249.

This willing to fork over two and a half bills and plug in for their bar-b-que can find the new contraption on shelves in Home Depot or Lowe's.
