Jo Calderone Pronounced Dead after VMA's

Lady Gaga's annoying alter-ego, Jo Calderone has virtually been pronounced dead by the pop media after Sunday's unexpected takeover of MTV's Video Music Awards.
Calderone, described by countless critics as a dirty, Ralph Macchio look-alike, took the stage for the consistent, outlandishly-themed Lady Gaga during a two-minute monologue in which the lady referred to herself in the third person while playing the role of Dirty Jo.
E! Online's Leslie Gornstein noted, "I spoke to a half-dozen brand managers in music and other areas, and they all insisted that Gaga's choice alienated and confused her audience. For the record, in the branding world, that is bad."
The Hollywood Reporter piled on with the headline, 'Lady Gaga's VMA Shtick Was Embarrassing, Says Branding Expert'."
Following up on the criticism, many other media outlets were quick to report the allegations of Gaga ripping off Annie Lennox's gender-bending performance from the 1984 Grammy Awards.
Lady Gaga's creative director, Laurieann Gibson, qualified the risky appearance in advance telling MTV News, "I hope that the Monsters and the music industry [connect to] the idea that as long as you execute to the highest level of your ability, that you make a statement, that you push your creative ability to the max, and it doesn't mean one thing or another."
Even MTV posted an article explaining "why" Gaga chose to lead with the greasy alter-ego.

WTF?! it was just a quirky performance from a genius. Why make such a big deal out of it?!
She does it for attention, stop paying so much attention to her and she may go away at some point hopefully!
(I'm not going to reply this guy. I'll just ignore him so he can fall off the face of the earth.)
I don't understand why people make such a fuss over these things. Lady Gaga is a talented artist who is just different from the rest of us. So why does different automatically mean we need to say negative things and put her down. People are ignoring a great talent, a genius mind, and probably one of the most kind-hearted people on this earth. As for Jo Calderone i would total do him if her were actually a man. Gaga makes one hot ass guy and one sexy lady, I don't care what people say about her she's beautiful. Just because she isn't the "normal" kind of beautiful doesn't mean she isn't pretty in her own way and chances are the people saying she is ugly are insecure themselves. The other thing I honestly don't get is freaking Katy Perry walked around with a block of cheese on her stupid pink untalented head and not a word has been said. Why? Because all people see are big boobs and a plastic face. Gaga gets more heat because she has more to offer than her looks.

It is a shame that we cannot hear metal on MTV. Now we get force fed pop music. Long live death metal! Throw Tranny ga ga and Katy Perry into the circle pit!
