Siobhan Magnus Out, Idol Snoozefest Continues

Magnus Siobhan, the girl who started off odd and mousey but finished bold and roaring has been voted off of the American Idol Stage.

This season of Idol has been the slowest moving and lowest energy airing in its history.

The audition rounds started off with little humor combined with little talent; viewers had to endure a painful Hollywood week; and now, even the big stage lacks appeal.

While talent does exist in the remaining contenders on the Idol stage, the entire show is missing the “X” Factor that was so prevalent in previous seasons.

Maybe that’s by design as Simon Cowell is set to debut his new show that could compete with Idol.

In the meantime, as Siobhan Magnus exits stage left, Idol heads for a flipped-flopped finish with Casey James or Lee DeWyze edging out the hugely talented Crystal Bowersox.

I can't believe that Siobhan is gone - I guess the myth about country week taking out one of the biggest competitors each season has some truth to it. With only 5 people left, it's harder to say who should go next - I don't think it should be Casey even though America seems to be implying that. I'm gonna go out on a limb here...but Michael or Aaron? What do you think? http://thesmogger.com/2010/04/29/idol-hangover-the-final-five
